Cost & Ownership
A single, fully managed home utility solution. That covers energy (solar generation and battery storage), water security (storage, pressure and filtration), hot water, and the smart monitoring that ties it together. We design the solution, fund it, install it, monitor it and maintain it. You deal with one supplier, receive one bill, and have one point of accountability.
No. The solution is funded rather than bought outright, so there is no large upfront capital outlay. You pay a single monthly amount that covers the system and its ongoing management. This is the central reason homeowners choose this route over purchasing a system outright for R350 000 to R500 000 or more.
Your monthly figure is calculated from your property, your measured consumption and the scope you choose, so it cannot be stated accurately before an assessment. Indicative entry-level solutions for smaller homes start from around R3 399 per month including VAT. Larger engineered solutions are priced in your proposal, and the assessment is complimentary — you will have the full financial picture before you commit to anything.
Two reference specifications frame the range. Signature Residence, suited to luxury family homes, covers a 10 kWp premium solar array, 20 kWh of battery storage and an 8 kW hybrid inverter. Prestige Estate, suited to executive residences and larger estates, covers a 15 kWp array, 30 kWh of storage and a 12 kVA hybrid inverter. Both include energy management and hot water optimisation, with backup water available, and no upfront cost. Your final design is calculated from your own load profile rather than selected from a list.
Solutions are delivered on a lease structure, with terms of 5 or 7 years and repayments tailored to your load profile. An ownership option is available at the end of the term. Your bespoke proposal sets out the exact terms, including installation and commissioning, before you sign anything.
The purpose is to reduce how much electricity you buy from the grid, permanently. Your home generates during the day, stores surplus in the battery, and draws on that reserve rather than importing at full tariff. Because the reduction depends on your consumption pattern, roof yield and system size, we measure your load during the assessment rather than quoting a generic saving percentage.
Resilient energy and water infrastructure is a genuine differentiator when a property is sold, particularly in areas affected by load shedding and water interruptions. A prospective buyer is not only buying panels and batteries — they are buying certainty about utility costs and supply.
Financing
The solution is funded and repaid through a single monthly payment over a lease term, rather than requiring a capital outlay. Repayments are structured around your load profile. We present the financial model as part of the bespoke proposal, before any commitment.
Lease terms of 5 or 7 years are available. The appropriate term depends on the value of the solution and your household's preference, and it is set out clearly in your proposal.
Your repayment is structured to your load profile and agreed up front. One of the central benefits of the model is predictability: you know what the solution costs each month, rather than absorbing above-inflation municipal tariff increases across your whole bill.
It covers the engineered solution and its ongoing management — including monitoring, maintenance, optimisation and support for the life of the agreement. This is deliberately different from buying equipment: the responsibility for keeping the system performing stays with us.
Installation Process
An executive consultation and a physical property assessment. We review your consumption, roof or available generation space, water supply and pressure, geyser arrangement and how your household actually uses utilities. From that we produce a bespoke design and a financial model for you to review.
The schedule depends entirely on the scope of your solution and the readiness of the property. Rather than quoting a generic duration, we agree a programme with you as part of the engineered proposal, and you will know exactly what to expect before work begins.
Yes. Estate and multi-unit installations are part of what we do, and we manage the approval and compliance process that estates typically require. If your estate or homeowners' association has specific requirements, we address them during the assessment.
Yes. Because every solution is engineered rather than packaged, many clients start with energy and water security and extend into hot water, backup water or wider automation afterwards. The assessment establishes a design that can grow.
We work with homeowners and estates across South Africa on a by-assessment basis. Because every solution is engineered to the property, we confirm feasibility for your specific area and property as part of the assessment — book one and we will confirm coverage for you directly.
Compliance
Solutions are fully compliant with applicable regulations and industry standards, and designs are produced by professionals with more than 40 years of combined experience across electrical engineering, renewable energy, water infrastructure, project engineering, asset management and building services. Compliance certification is issued on completion of the installation.
Premium, tier 1 equipment. The group works with established manufacturers including LONGi and JA Solar for modules, Solar MD and BYD for battery storage, and GoodWe for inverters. We select equipment to match your engineered design, not to clear stock.
Equipment is sourced from established tier 1 manufacturers and carries manufacturer warranties, which are set out in your proposal along with the terms of the agreement. Because we also monitor and maintain the system, performance issues are identified and addressed by us rather than becoming your responsibility to chase.
Maintenance & Monitoring
We do. Monitoring, maintenance, optimisation and support are part of the relationship, not an optional extra. This is one of the clearest differences between a Home Convenience solution and buying equipment yourself: the ongoing responsibility stays with one accountable partner.
Continuously and remotely. Your system is measured across generation, consumption, storage and water, and performance is tracked against expectations. Alerts surface issues early, which means many problems are identified and resolved before you would have noticed them.
Monitoring is designed to detect it early, and the responsibility for resolving it sits with us. You contact one partner — not a solar supplier, a plumber, an electrician and an inverter importer in turn — and that partner owns the outcome.
Smart Devices & Technology
Yes. You get a real-time dashboard covering energy usage, water consumption, solar production, battery levels, tank levels and smart device status, accessible from your phone. You can see exactly what your home is generating, storing and using at any moment, from anywhere.
It removes decisions. Smart metering measures what is really happening; automation shifts heavy loads such as water heating into the hours when your own generation is highest; and intelligent geyser control decides when to heat and when to rest. The result is less electricity bought from the grid, and less for you to think about.
Alerts are configured to be useful rather than noisy, and they are informative by default — you are told when something needs attention, or when the system has already handled it. Granularity is set during commissioning to suit your household.
That is precisely the point of the model. The system is designed, installed, monitored and maintained by us, and the dashboard is deliberately simple. You do not need to understand inverter topologies to benefit from them — you need to be able to see that your home is secure, which the dashboard shows at a glance.
Coverage
We assess properties across South Africa and confirm feasibility for your area as part of the complimentary assessment. Because each solution is engineered to a specific property, we would rather confirm coverage with you directly than make a blanket promise.
Book a complimentary executive home assessment. We will assess your property and requirements, then present a bespoke engineered solution with a financial model and no upfront capital required.
